What does it mean to be an Exclusive Promoter Distributor?
Exclusive Promoter Distributor (EPD) which is somewhat similar to a Franchisee is essentially a distributor who buys the product, stocks them safely at its own warehouse, distributes them as per the customer order collected by it and also has added capability and resources of promoting to the target audience and generating demand for the company's products on an exclusive basis.
While the Company gives the EPD exclusivity of business operations in an assigned region and shall not appoint any other EPD, it is also expected from the appointed EPD to promote exclusively our Company’s products, preferably.
What are the specific mutual obligations & benefits of this partnership?
- The EPD when appointed shall not have to pay any fee a normal franchisee pays upfront.
- The EPD as the name suggests shall be the exclusive business partner of the company in the assigned region.
- The EPD shall be eligible for much higher margin on MRP (40-50% or even more as per the product as against 10% a typical Distributor gets. This is to facilitate business for EPD.
- The EPD shall be required to pay 100% of the order value in advance.
- The EPD shall buy products from the company on a 'non-returnable’ basis only.
- The company shall provide all marketing related inputs, training and product knowledge to EPD and its sales team.
What are the eligibility criteria to become EPD of Voll Sante?
- Good customer connection in the healthy foods and healthcare segment (hospitals, distributors, retailers, malls, grocery stores etc.).
- At least 2 sales persons who can promote the company's products effectively.
- A neat, clean and safe warehousing space to stock the company's products (minimum storage area of 200 sq. ft.) with a valid GST licence.
- Capability to distribute company’s products from authorized warehouse, within 72 hours of the customers’ purchase order.
- FSSAI licence for Distribution and Retailing.
